# [[The Saucy Individuals Campaign]]
## [[Search for Doran Iceblood]]
### [[26 Eleasis 1489]], [[Northern Valendare Range]]
After narrowly surviving an icy storm and avoiding an encounter with [[Yeti]] and [[Dire Wolf|Dire Wolves]] we continued north to a nearby [[Ceyx Lake|Lake]] populated by some kind of [[Birdfolk]], the [[Coracii]], who live amongst enormous pillars.
As we approached we observed these bird-folk maneuver through the air with magic, with homes high on the pillars above they would dive into the lake to hunt, and wield massive bows. They were adorned with iridescent blue feathers and did not seek conflict with us as we approached. Their religious icons indicated they worship the dead [[God]] [[Aarakontias]] and they use their wind magic to manipulate smoke and tell stories.
We eventually entered their village, which we later learned was called [[Ceyx]], we were escorted by guards who refused to speak to us, but seemed to understand Pryn's [[Draconic]].
We were taken to their [[Prime Sage]], [[Gawe]], who we swapped stories with. In this time we learned of:
- The [[White Dragon]] [[Eaphosoan]] that terrorizes his people and the Valendare Range
- The many [[Sahuagin]] that infest the peninsula to the north, the [[Crow's Talon]].
- The general location of [[Doran Iceblood]], who seems lost in the mountains, and a lack of information regarding the whereabouts of [[Caled Farplain]]
- The [[True Dragon|Dragons]] that they once called allies long ago
- The location of two dwarven cities: [[Aldan]] and [[Durwahl]], though the dwarves disappeared over 100 years ago.
We told Gawe a little of our stories, and he agreed readily to help us against [[Urgan, Doombringer]], though his people will not fight directly and will retreat into [[The Elemental Plane of Air]] if threatened. If only we all had such an option.
From there, we took a [[Short Rest]] and prepared for the journey ahead. We picked up some Draconic from Pryn and Asher, I found an ancient dwarven book which I [[Unnaturally Speedy Postmaster Spell|Mailed]] to [[Serena]] of [[The Archaeology Guild]], and we stocked up on potions, during which Big Inky and I had a disagreement about how to proceed.
In the end, we decided to forge north straight into the mountains, through the territory of [[Ettin]], with hopes of recruiting them to aid us against the dragon Eaphosoan.
Now, we stand at the mouth of the canyon in which the Ettin and their [[Griffon|Gryphons]] live, and I must convince them to aid us.
I know this course of action is reckless, but I must save Doran Iceblood, who may be the last true [[The Order of the Green Blades|Green Blade]] living. Though I fear the wrath of this dragon, I must try to live up to the legacy of this shield and make up for the sins of my past.
