An ancient extinct [[Precursor Species|People]] that used to live on the continent of [[Xoctl]]. They are being researched by [[Archaeology Guild - Haven's Breach Chapter]]. They tended to build temples and buildings in square pyramid architectural styles and used extensive amounts of gold. They seemed to have technology and magic far beyond our current capabilities. --- # History The precursors predate all modern creatures. They studied [[The Weave]], and used their power and imagination to create. At first, simple creations, before creating more complex and intelligent creatures. Eventually, the Precursors brought themselves to an end. They attempted to create a guardian, and instead they created a weapon, [[The Soul Axe|a being of pure chaos]] that turned on the Precursors. The Precursors turned themselves into non-physical beings to avoid being destroyed. Eventually, the Precursors died out. The Precursors used to have some kind of shared consciousness that connected them.
