A tavern/bar in [[Vevososova]] with the bartender [[Kreelo]].
Nestled against a sun-dappled canal where lake mist drifts through open arches, *Conch* is a marvel of both design and adaptation — a tavern made for land-walkers and sea-dwellers alike. From the outside, it appears like a conch shell wedged between marble and pearl columns. Orbiting above the building are large pearls adhered to polished steel frames, reminiscing of an orrery. The main entrance opens into a grand, airy chamber where seafoam-stained stone meets gently undulating water.
The bar sits at the heart of the room — **half submerged, half dry**, curving like a crescent moon along the edge of a central pool. **Two spiral staircases** flank either end of the bar, rising to a **second-story interior balcony** that rings the chamber. From this vantage, diners sip drinks at intimate tables of coral and glass, gazing down into the lively main floor or across to the water-glass windows where silverfish flicker in the light.
Above, the high, arched ceiling is alive. **Tendrils of kelp and vine-coral grow downward**, catching and casting **prismatic light** that reflects up from the rippling water. Clusters of **glowing coral** cling to beams like natural chandeliers, radiating soft greens, teals, blues, and purples, pulsing faintly in rhythm with the tide.
The **water-level sub-basement**, accessible via a winding ramp that spirals below the bar, houses flooded guest rooms for aquatic patrons — each chamber softly lit and lined with shell-mosaic murals. Above, tucked beyond the balcony, dry rooms await land-dwelling guests. In all directions, there is the hum of low conversation, the scent of spiced sea-grain and roasted kelp, while a band plays various reed instruments and percussion made from various shells and rocks.
Sea elf servers clad in shimmering, water-slicked fabrocs -- move with practiced elegance, balancing trays of bubbling drinks, warm shells-bowls of food, and dripping carafes of glowing nectar brewed from deep-sea fungi.
