Eventualy every joins me. Borky is very good. I win 1cp from [[Borkath]] for getting 2nd in an impromtu tourney.* *In town we visit a salesman with an overpacked ccart. He has many strange wares. I buy a satchel of what I call [[Sundrops]]. Lemon flavored candies that change the weather at least from snowy to sun* *weather runes? lemon candy* --- *Ran into [[Lambholt]] at the Inn. I delivered the final rectal punch to end things. *A strange flickering, swarming light gathered around Lila and I. When we touched the stone staff atop the tomb, I saw a series of visions.* *I saw what seemed to be the life of an [[Elf|Elven]] man named [[Vernakai]]. Living in the woods, hunting, playing with his green-eyed child, fleeing from a metal-clad horde of humans, and finally, being torn apart by the strain of holding open a portal for his people to escape.* *I do not know what to make of it. Lila seemed to know much more about the events I saw, but she fled once she had the staff she had been searching for.* *She and [[Jié ní]] latched on to the green-eyed girl I saw. She did look very much like me, but the event I saw took place over 200 years ago. There must be some kind of connection. It is too much to be a coincidence, but I cannot yet figure out what it is. *I felt the items on the tomb might help me piece it together.* - *Two stones with matching glyphs* - A *gold brooch, shaped like 2 shields - *a cloak made of bark* *Eventually, we exited the ruins and made camp, as it was quite late.* *I become lost in thought while on my watch, lulled into meditation by the fire. He seemed more interested in celebrating our deeds and washing his hands of the whole ordeal. *There is now a plaque in our honor in [[Vinionwood]], [[Borky]] & [[Jié ní]] suggested the group name BTS or Boy Scout Boys but I have no clue what that is.* *We purchased a cart and 3 horses, and plan to leave for [[Krashaprovos]] tomorrow after one last night in [[Borkath and Borky's Tree House|Borky & Borkath's home]].* *[[Jimathan]] [[Jimbo]] [[Lucky]]* *Using some materials I got in town, I finally figured out how to perform the [[Find Familiar]] spell I copied from the spellbook of [[Kessig Monastery|Kessig]]. Turns out I had been mistranslating the ratio of [[incense]] to herbs, but now I have it.* *I hope everyone will like my familiar. We camped in a birch thicket, where [[Borkath]] saw fit to fell an entire tree and put up a 40 ft hammock.* *Before bed, Borkath told a truly terrifying ghost story: *The Ghost of Bloodyfinger* --- *We are awoken in the night by what I thought was a ghost! It turns out it was an invisible [[Borky]], who had a run-in with an [[Owlbear]].* *We Slew it. The feathers are nice and it makes good jerky.* *I became lost in thought while on my watch, lulled into meditation by the fire.
