This sigil is a physical manifestation of the ability to drain someone's power and ability. The sigil is the size of a coin, made out of a black metal, with rough inscriptions that have been eroded over the centuries.
When you attune to this item, you place the sigil on a weapon or magical focus. The sigil then melds into the item until you decide to un-attune. This sigil has 2 charges and regains 1d2 charges at dawn.
On your turn, when you damage an enemy, or they suffer an effect from a source of your magic, you can choose to use one of the charges of the sigil. If you do, the enemy must make a DC 17 CHA save. If a target fails, they are under the effects of the [[Bane]] spell.
Maintaining Bane from this sigil on the enemy does not require concentration. If you would fall unconscious, however, the effect ends. Multiple instances of Bane do not stack.
This item can only be used by a [[Rogue]], [[Bard]], or [[Warlock]].
