![[SoulAxe.png]] # Overview A [[Curse|Cursed]] [[Greataxe]] that absorbs the souls of those it slays, bolstering its own power with their spirit and growing stronger over time. It seems to possess the wielder, encouraging them to kill to strengthen itself. In addition to absorbing souls, the Axe seems to be able to use souls to perform ranged attacks and to feed souls into other things. Urgan used such an ability to try to keep a [[Portal]] to [[The Abyss]] open during [[The Chieftains' Last Stand]]. # History [[Urgan, Doombringer|Urgan]] was given this item by [[Goblin]] captors shortly before he led the [[The Fall of Crag Duroshk]], and has wielded it ever since, eventually absorbing enough souls that the Axe could slay an [[Xoctl Gold Dragon|Ancient Gold Dragon]] in a single blow.
