# Overview A [[Shield]] created from the wing of the legendary dragon [[Arzyliamorn]] and passed down through generations of [[The Order of the Green Blades|Green Blades]]. It was wielded by [[Galad Steelsworn|Sir Galad Steelsworn]] until he was slain by [[Urgan, Doombringer|Urgan, Doombringer]] during [[The Fall of Valikin's Landing]] where the shield was cut into two pieces by [[The Soul Axe]], after which the remains of the shield were taken by [[Prynazalya]]. Although not a sword, it is counted among [[Arzyliamorn's Crystal Blades]]. # History ## Early History ([[5th Century AoM|5th Century]] - [[1488 AoM]]) Heart of Stone is largely unknown, even my avid students of the histories of [[The Order of the Green Blades]]. The shield was presumably created upon or shortly after [[Arzyliamorn]]'s death from a piece of her wing during [[The Battle of Respite]] alongside the other [[Arzyliamorn's Crystal Blades|Crystal Blades]]. Presumably, the shield was passed down through generations of [[Knight|Knights]] of [[The Order of the Green Blades]] until it was eventually granted to [[Galad Steelsworn|Sir Galad Steelsworn]]. ## [[Campaign 2]] ([[1488 AoM|1488]]-[[1489 AoM]]) ### [[The Fall of Valikin's Landing]] Galad wielded the shield in combat against [[Urgan, Doombringer|Urgan, Doombringer]], though the shield provided him little aid, as both Galad and the shield were cut in two by a single swing of Urgan's [[The Soul Axe|Soul Axe]]. Galad's final act was to offer the remains of the shield up to [[Prynazalya]], who pulled them away from his bisected corpse with [[Mage Hand]]. Prynazalya later incorporated the fragments of the shield into her nest. Unbeknownst to her, the fragments of the shield began to affect her dreams, causing her to occasionally dream fragments of the Shield's memories of Galad Steelsworn.
