> Eberron is a much more high tech setting than our own and many of it's Facilities are either high tech or build on lore very specific to that setting, meaning this Bastion facility may not make much sense in Caledon and may require significant adjustment before it can be used in our game!

**Prerequisite:** Ability to use [[Tools|Artisan’s Tools]] as a [[Spellcasting Focus]]
**Space:** Roomy
**Hirelings:** 2
**Order:** Craft
An Artificer’s Forge includes two magewright hirelings who are skilled in creating magic items.
**_Crafting Assistants._** If you [[Crafting Magic Items|Create a Magic Item]] in your Bastion, one or both of this facility’s hirelings can assist you, reducing the time required for the crafting.
**_Craft: Magic Item._** When you issue the Craft order to this facility, you commission the facility’s hirelings to craft a [Common or an Uncommon magic item](https://www.dndbeyond.com/sources/dnd/dmg-2024/treasure#MagicItems) chosen by you from the [Dungeon Master’s Guide](https://www.dndbeyond.com/sources/dnd/dmg-2024). The facility has the tool required to craft the item, and the hirelings have proficiency with that tool as well as proficiency in the [[Arcana]] skill. The two hirelings assist each other, reducing the time required to craft the item. If the item allows its user to cast any spells from it, the hirelings have those spells prepared.
**_Charge Refreshment._** Whenever a magic item in your Bastion regains charges, it regains 1 extra expended charge.
