As preparations for the colder months come to an end, a shift in demeanor is instilled in the [[Vela]] people from childhood. While the warm months often bring abundance, like all things, it must come to an end. The Vela must learn how to live on few resources and ration themselves through the winter. As a tribute to this tradition, Vela take small emblems, trophies, and other items and artifacts and collectively drop them into the deeper part of [[Balevon Lake]].
