## The Disruption of Kha'Nyv
The The Boy Scout Boys (Lazhna, Yuh, Or, Jié ní, Valdove, Ayula, and Haru Lightfang) arrive in Sonyv and meet Alrai, the Ki-tona of The Solrakh Qoran. Alrai explains the plight of the working people of Sonyv as they walk through the city, before confiding in the party her goal to destroy the reverse-waterfall siphoning water from The Alkamora River into the floating and opulent city of Kha'Nyv above.
The party joins Alrai for dinner, where they ponder the secrets of the the waterfall's magic. Alrai directs the party to find Eese the information broker.
The next day, the party visits Kabir's Tomes to purchase a Sun Elvish-Common Dictionary. Or questions Kabir about the The Cthaeh and discovers the topic is taboo in Kono as well.
Later, the party heads to The Sirana and meets with Eese. The party trades their secrets for information from Eese. They learn about Moon Crests, The Kha'Nyv Teleportation Circle, the strength of The Fomorian Army, and The Cinder Isles. In return, Or uses Legend Lore to locate The Lair of The Cthaeh. After the meeting, the party splits up to meet with Hadim of The Servant's Guild and Ramzia, but are attacked by Thralls of The Thought Collector. A fierce battle ensues, resulting in civilian casualties, but the party emerges victorious. Lazhna, disguised as a Sun Elf manages to gain an audience with The Rokha from Alan of the Kono City Guard.
In the chaos, the party meets Ramzia, who helps them escape the chaos into the Underground Village, where she asks the party to help her retrieve the heart and eye of The Devil of the Cinder Isles to resurrect her dead husband Uhlu. The group agrees and heads to The Sarab, a local tavern, to plan their next move.
The party decides their best course of action is to simply ask for access to The Kha'Nyv Teleportation Circle during their audience with The Rokha, and departs for the meeting the following day.
The party ascends to the opulent city of Kha'Nyv and is escorted into The Qar, where they are greeted by The Rokha and Venro Kahin. The two act oblivious to the existence of a teleportation circle within their city, but are amicable hosts to the party and host a banquet in their honor. Meanwhile, Valdove secretly explores the palace and discovers a false wall leading into a secret Infernal chamber where he discovers three sun elves being crucified around a teleportation circle.
Meanwhile, Kahin, aware of Valdove's presence, excuses himself from dinner to pursue the intruder. Using Mass Suggestion, Or convinces the Rokha and his guards to follow after Kahin, eventually discovering the infernal section of the palace themselves.
A fierce battle breaks out between The Boy Scout Boys, the Royal Guard, Kahin, and his fiendish allies, with Kahin even taking on a devilish form during the fight. The Boy Scout Boys are ultimately victorious. The Rokha believes that he, in his holiness, defeated Kahin, and hostilities end there.
After the battle, the party saves the crucified Sun Elves. Lazhna records the Sigil Sequence of the teleportation circles, and the party also learns of Kahin's patron, Marodauch. After negotiating with the new Venro, Ahmed, the party takes a share of the treasure from the palace. As they depart, Valdove tries to sabotage The Reverse-Waterfall of Kha'Nyv but fails and chooses to save his bomb for another time.
Their audience ended and their objective met, the group returns to Sonyv and rests at The Sarab in preparation for their next adventure.

## Feywilds Expedition Day 11, Sonyv
Alrai meets the party upon their arrival in Sonyv, and as they walk the streets, she explains the Socioeconomic Tension in Kono.
The group eventually arrives at an outcropping where Kha'Nyv is visible.
She declares her goal is to destroy the reverse-waterfall siphoning water from The Alkamora River.
The party joins Alrai for dinner, and questions Alrai on the source of the waterfall, nut Alrai is uncertain what powers the magic. The waterfall has been around for generations.
Alrai points the party in the direction of Eese of The Sirana, the "secret house", a black market information broker in town.
Or perceives a darkness to Alrai, a hunger for vengenace or revenge. She also appears to have quite a drinking problem.
After dinner, the party takes a rest at The Sarab, a local tavern, where they meet Umu.
The party takes a bath and Ayula wonders about the lack of fish in the water, supposing that the No Fish spell has been cast on the water.

## Feywilds Expedition Day 12, Sonyv
The party awakens to the smell of spices and cooked vegetables as breakfast is served at The Sarab.
At breakfast time, the party inspects the coin Light got from Tsuki. It contains an Elvish inscription that says "Trust Among Smugglers".
The party decides to seek out a bookstore in order to find some kind of Sun Elvish Translation Dictionary and eventually finds Kabir's Tomes.
Inside, they meet the shopkeep, Kabir, who is attempting to repair an old book. Lazhna casts Mending to repair the book, and he expresses his gratitude.
The group picks up a Sun Elvish-Common Dictionary as well as a Book on Kono History.
Or askes Kabir about The Cthaeh, but is only asked to leave in return. The group politely departs.
---
Meanwhile, Ayula goes to a Petting Zoo.
---
While in The Bazaar the group comes across a stall selling garments made with a strange Translucent Wool. The girl working there is desperate for the approval of The Rokha, which would be incredible for her business. Fascinated by the fabric, the party buys some translucent wool.
---
The group reunites and heads to The Sirana to gather information.
They are greeted at the door by Dijah, who only lets them inside once they show her Tsuki's Coin from Kono.
The group is welcomed inside, where they meet Eese. She explains through her translator that the party must trade for the information she gives them, preferably by sharing secrets of their own.
The questions begin.
- Light: "Where do we get Moon Crests?"
- Eese: "From within The Brokenstone Vale, which is guarded by The Maiden of the Moon."
- Eese: "Why is there an Aarakocra among you? Where do you come from?" (Referencing The Disappearance of Aarakocra)
- Yuh: "I don't have any memories of where I come from."
- Eese: "What can you tell me about the dragon Y'Driltha?"
- Party: "We killed her a while ago. She took control of The Alavastian Empire and disguised herself as their Queen-Mother."
- Party: "Where is The Kha'Nyv Teleportation Circle? Does it really exist?"
- Eese: "It does exist. It is kept secret in Kha'Nyv and is used for extraplanar trade."
- Party: "How do we get there?"
- Eese: "Either...
1. Get smuggled into the city
2. Sneak into the city
3. Get invited to an audience with The Rokha. The best way to do this is to find The Lost Tomb of Shorek Sham II. Whoever finds it would immediately be considered a hero of the city.
Party: "Why is the tomb so important?"
Ais: "It supposedly contains information about Venro Kahin, who is believed to be the puppet ruler behind The Rokha. Whoever finds the tomb controls this information. The Rokha is believed to be godlike, and information that they are being manipulated would cause chaos."
- Eese: "How are the defense of Astrazalian?
- Party: "They won't last past the winter at this rate."
- Eese: What can you tell me about the Dragon Riding Civilization East of Gavony?
- Party: "Not much."
- Party: "Where in Kha'Nyv is The Kha'Nyv Teleportation Circle?"
- Eese: "The circle is in The Qar, the royal palace. The Throne Room is at the center, and the circle is one level below it."
- Lazhna: "Are the Sigil Sequences for both teleportation circles there?"
- Eese: "Yes."
- Party: "How can we sneak into Kha'Nyv?"
- Eese: "Speak to Hadim, the leader of The Servant's Guild. He would know the best way to sneak you inside. Alternatively, seek out the Dervish Ramzia in The Yatta."
- Party: "What can you tell us about The Cinder Isles?"
- Eese: "The isles have religious significance for us. It is home to primal fire and a Winged Devil lives in the volcano who protects The Cinder Isles Pyre Shard."
- Party: "What can you tell us about Moon Crests?"
- Eese: They are created through a magic ritual in The Brokenstone Vale.
- The Vale is guarded by The Maiden of the Moon. She keeps Lycanthropes and Changelings imprisoned there.
- The Maiden of the Moon is a warrior given divine power.
- The Maiden of the Moon savagely attacks anyone who tries to escape.
- Party: "What can you tell us about the Fomorians?"
- Eese: "They are ruled by King Thrumbolg. His citadel has a room with 100s of portals that lead to random places. His goal is to conquer The Material Plane of Caledon. The Fomorians themselves used to be beautiful until they were cursed.
- Party: "Where is The Cthaeh?"
- Eese: "I don't know. Why don't you tell me?"
- Eese: "Send to King Daudren Mallek for me and ask him about the southern front." (Referencing The Conquest of Urgan, Doombringer)
- Mallek: "Orcs are pushing in unexpectedly."
Or uses Legend Lore to learn the location of The Lair of The Cthaeh, and learns that it is east of Senaliesse, The Summer City at the center of a forest. He relays this information to Eese.
The group departs.
Valdove lingers behind for a moment and asks Eese about the power source of The Reverse-Waterfall of Kha'Nyv. Eese informs him that the waterfall is maintained by Kahin.
---
Valdove and Lazhna go to The Malakana to see Hadim while Jié ní and Or go to The Yatta to see Ramzia.
On the way to see Ramzia, Or and Jié ní catch a flash of purple eyes in the crowd, and are suddenly attacked by Thralls of The Thought Collector!
Combat goes down as a Sorcerer Thrall, Rogue Thrall and War Cleric Thrall surround them.
The rest of The Boy Scout Boys rush to join the battle, but Or is nearly killed by the thralls before Valdove heals him. Many civilians are killed by the thralls in the chaos.
Or uses Hold Person to restrain the Rogue while Light attacks him, critically hitting him six times and killing him.
Lazhna Summons a Draconic Spirit, which carries the Sorcerer up into the sky outside the city and drops him.
The Thought Collector lets go of his control of the Sorcerer, so that he might feel terror in the final moments of his life.
Combat ends.
The Party collects the Memory Incense, Sigil of Bane, Earring of the Mystics of Lunara, Wyvern Poison, and Essence of Ether from the Thralls.
Or takes the Memory Incense.
---
Ramzia appears and helps the party escape from the chaos. Lahzna takes the form of a Sun Elf and draws the guard's attention.
The guards are concerned about the presence of Thralls in the city, and Lazhna meets Captain Alan cleverly uses the situation to her advantage to gain an audience with The Rokha on the subject tomorrow.
Lazhna rejoins the party in The Yatta.
---
On the way to The Yatta, Ramzia tells the party about the Yuan-Ti:
- Long ago there was a war between the Sun Elves and Yuan-Ti.
- The Yuan-Ti lost, and many are still resentful about it and take up work as Bandits.
- Ramzia takes care of the Yuan-Ti and other undesirables
- Yuan-Ti are a very diverse species, ranging from more snake-like to more humanoid in appearance
- The Yuant-Ti revere snakes.
The group enters the Underground Village. Ramzia is well respected here.
Ramzia has heard of The Boy Scout Boys before, and asks them to gather the heart and eye of Marodauch for a ritual to revive her dead husband. The party agrees to help her and begins their Quest to Revive Uhlu.
After discussing the quest with Ramzia, the party returns to The Sarab and plans their next move.
---
The party plans to approach the audience with The Rokha honestly, and just ask nicely for passage to The Cinder Isles. The party decides that will probably go wrong, and so they also plan on having to sneak or fight to The Kha'Nyv Teleportation Circle.
The party rests for the night.
---
## Feywilds Expedition Day 13, Sonyv
Yuh starts the day by scavenging for parts for arrows.
Or reads the Book on Kono History and learns more about the Aarakocra:
- Aarakocra are from The Beastlands, where Elniavere reigns.
- There was an Aarakocra Army that fought against The Thought Collector in The Battle Between Luvon Ilix and The Thought Collector. The army was massacred.
- Afterwards, the remaining Aarakocra returned to The Beastlands, explaining The Disappearance of Aarakocra.
Or writes a note to Yuh explaining all of this and slips it in his pack for him to find later.
Meanwhile, Valdove goes shopping and gets three Potions of Fire Resistance.
While out shopping Valdove meets with Alrai gets a bomb to blow up The Reverse-Waterfall of Kha'Nyv with.
The party regroups and meets with Captain Alan and begins their procession to Kha'Nyv.
When asked for their names, the party gives the following list:
- Ayula, Daughter of Goreclaw
- Jie Ni, Knight-Protector of Narapis
- Or of Deep Gourd
- Haru Lightfang, Chief-Apparent of Yossei
- Yuhguna Dyeh, Sentinel, Slayer of Rabbits
- Kabira, Summoner of Dragons
- Rassamin the Rat Queen (Ramzia)
Valdove is not present on the list and turns Invisible so that he may work in secret.
---
The party arrives in Kha'Nyv and finds it an opulent vertical city, with beautiful angular, hand carved architecture.
The group proceeds to The Qar, where they meet The Rokha. He is a fat, jolly man. Alongside him is Kahin, who is as muscular as described.
When meeting Kabira they remark how rare it is to see a Wizard in Kono.
The party proceeds to the banquet prepared in their honor for fending off the threat of The Cthaeh.
---
Meanwhile, Valdove sneaks away.
Valdove opens a Dimension Door to the other side of the palace, where they expect the source of The Reverse-Waterfall of Kha'Nyv to be. They are met with a hallway of obsidian, filled with whispers and Infernal influence.
Valdove explores this area further and finds a depiction of an Archdevil in stained glass.
Valdove also finds three Sun Elves crucified in a circle with ankhs carved into their chests. (Crucified Sun Elf 1, Crucified Sun Elf 2, Crucified Sun Elf 3)
An image of Kahin appears and spouts a generic message warning intruders to leave.
---
At the banquet, Kahin abruptly gets up and leaves the table. The party attempts to follow him discretely, but fails until Or uses Mass Suggestion to influence The Rokha and The Kono Royal Guards to follow.
A few of the guards are not fooled, but The Rokha is. Or is able to convince The Rokha to get his guards in line, and as a group they all follow after Kahin, though they quickly lose Kahin when he walks around a corner.
Eventually, the group finds an illusion painting that leads to the Infernal section to the palace that Valdove had found previously.
The group reunites as combat begins.
---
Several Devils and Imps come to Kahin's aid. Or uses Divine Intervention to cast Hallow and prevent Interplanar travel, limiting their reinforcements.
Meanwhile, A Cleric attending to The Rokha creates a protective barrier, shielding him from harm.
As he is brought low, Kahin transforms into a Devilish form and says "You will know pain."
Or uses Dawn to decimate the remaining Fiends.
Yuh replies "All I know is pain" and kills Kahin.
Combat ends.
---
The group takes stock of the situation. It would be possible to teleport to The Cinder Isles now using the blood of the three crucified sun elves, but this may be the last chance to use the teleportation circle, as it's secrets have died with Kahin.
The group elects to save the sun elves instead, Jié ní heals them and Lazhna covertly copies the Sigil Sequence for The Kha'Nyv Teleportation Circle, as well as sequence for The Cinder Isles Teleportation Circle.
Meanwhile, The Rokha, a fool, believes that he was the one who killed Kahin, despite doing nothing. Or requests to be paid 15,000 Gold.
The party learns the name of Kahin's patron by studying the infernal writings in the area: Marodauch.
The Rokha picks a nearby Cleric, Ahmed as the new Venro, renaming him "Kahin" like the old Venro.
The party is taken to the treasure room. After a moment of fiddling with a complex lock, Ahmed opens the door and the party is given free reign for a few minutes to take what they can carry. Lazhna makes note of the locking mechanism.
While Valdove piles gold into the bag of holding, Lazhna finds a fancy book. Light finds a fancy book as well.
Valdove finds an Obsidian Cross.
The group departs, and Or tells Ahmed: "Don't let them take your name from you".
As the group departs, Valdove steals a moment to sabotage The Reverse-Waterfall of Kha'Nyv, though he does not use Alrai's Bomb.
Having had their audience with The Rokha, the group returns to Sonyv, with The Rokha none the wiser that their ulterior motives were met.
---
With his share of the reward, Yuh buys a set of Studded Leather Armor, long overdue.
Lazhna and Or return to The Sirana, and discuss the recent happenings in Kha'Nyv with Eese. Including Kahin's death, the power dynamic between the Venro and Rokha, and the crucifixion of sun elves.
Lazhna asks about The Brokenstone Vale again, and Eese picks up on her continued interest.
She says to look for Viktor Mazan, a man who supposedly negotiates with The Maiden of the Moon.
Lazhna offers a replica of the vault key for the great vault in the palace for information on The Cthaeh. Eese agrees.
People who have asked The Cthaeh for information about the future in the past:
- Titania
- The Queen of Air and Darkness
- Oberon, The Green Lord
- The Leader of Mythrendain
Lazhna asks about an expert on Time Magic that could help the party learn more about The Cthaeh's future sight. Eese mentions Mordenkainen.
Eese mentions that Fey Time was dramatically affected in the past when The Queen of Air and Darkness filled the power vacuum left by the decimated Aarakocra Army after The Disappearance of Aarakocra.
---
The party regroups in The Sarab and rest, after a bad acid trip from some dubious herbs found by Ayula.
In the morning, they depart to finish the The Search for the Pyre Shard of the Cinder Isles and the Quest to Revive Uhlu.
