# Summary ## [[Journey to Kono]] [[The Boy Scout Boys]] continue south through [[The Shattered Steppe]], making their way into [[The Grand Boro Desert]] towards the city of [[Kono]]. Along the way, they encounter various creatures and landscapes, including the giant sand sharks known as [[Barek]] and the floating manta rays, [[Solrahk]], and their riders, [[The Desert Guides]], led by [[Tawil]]. Tawil offers the group passage through the desert, which they accept. They travel to a [[Camp in The Floating Spires]], the mountains floating in the center of the desert. While in the camp, the group barters for supplies with local merchants and learns about the [[Socioeconomic Tension in Kono|tensions]] in Kono, with the city divided between [[Sonyv]], the city of peasants and workers, and [[Kha'Nyv]], the city of nobles ruled by their king, [[The Rokha]]. --- # Adventure Log ## [[Feywilds Expedition Day 7]], [[The Shattered Steppe]] The group awakens in the Shattered Steppe the "morning" after they completed the [[Delve of the Necropolis of Luvon Ilix]]. They continue south until they reach the edge of [[The Grand Boro Desert]], where they make camp. While foraging, Ayula observes shifting dunes in the distance. The night passes without issue. ---- ## [[Feywilds Expedition Day 8]], [[The Shattered Steppe]] Travel goes well as the group skirts the edge of the desert. As a prank, Valdove steals 10 [[Gold]] from Or, replacing it with [[Pistachio]] shells. Or never finds out what happened to his gold. At night, works on a transcription of what they had learned of Luvon Ilix. The night is quiet. --- ## [[Feywilds Expedition Day 9]], [[The Grand Boro Desert]] The group sees a [[Barek|Giant Sand Shark]] in the distance, along with a campfire. They also observe people riding [[Solrahk|floating creatures]] across the desert. Travel goes smoothly. --- ## [[Feywilds Expedition Day 10]], [[The Grand Boro Desert]] Travel goes well. The party again observes people riding [[Solrahk|Floating Manta Rays]]. Most of them are wearing white head scarves, but one wearing a red headscarf. They land, and after some difficulty finding a shared language, tell the party to avoid the [[Barek]]. Their mission is to look for [[The Lost Tomb of Shorek Sham II]]. They tell us to talk to the [[Ki-tona]] of the [[Solrahk Qoran]], [[Alrai]] upon our arrival in [[Kono]]. The main guide mentions his name is [[Tawil]]. After some negotiation, the party is offered a ride to [[Kono]]. Just as they are about to embark, the ground rumbles as a [[Barek]] approaches. Everyone rushes onto the [[Solrahk]], and Lazhna uses [[Summon Draconic Spirit]] to summon a [[Bronze Dragon]] to carry her. The group flees just as the ground breaks beneath their feet and the Baerek emerges. After a while of travel, the group arrives at a [[Camp in The Floating Spires|Camp]] in [[The Floating Spires]]. There are at least thee groups of [[The Desert Guides]] in the camp, along with tents of traders and [[Sun Elf]] merchants. Or asks Valdove to speak to the traders to determine their sentiments about [[Orzith Ilix, The Thought Collector|The Thought Collector]] and [[The Cthaeh]], warry that his presence might cause them trouble. After some bartering with the merchants for information, Valdove determines that there are many old stories about The [[Thrall|Thralls]] of The Thought Collector, but not many recent ones. Regardless, one should be careful when discussing such topics. Valdove, Light and Jié ní barter for supplies, desert gear, and face coverings. Ayula barters for some cooked [[Crane]]. The group settles down for the night and rests. --- ## [[Feywilds Expedition Day 11]], [[The Floating Spires]] Before they depart from the camp, Tawil stops the party and fills them in on the city of Kono: - The tomb his scouts are searching for belongs to [[Shorek Sham VI]], a former [[Rokha]], the leader of their people. - [[Kono]] is divided into two cities: - [[Sonyv]], a city of peasants and workers - [[Kha'Nyv]], a city of nobles, where the Rokha reigns from - There is [[Socioeconomic Tension in Kono]], Alrai is sided with the peasants and workers against The Rokha. - Kha'Nyv has at least one [[Teleportation Circle]], but it is kept secret. - It is important to be wary of who you speak to about what in the city, simply saying something that should not be known will get you in trouble With that information, the party sets out with the Solrahk Scouts on the last leg of their journey, eventually arriving in [[Kono]].
