# Summary ## [[The Investigation of Vinionwood]] [[Verrisi]], a [[Monk]] from [[Kessig Monastery]], was tasked with investigating trouble in [[Vinionwood]]. During her journey to Vinionwood, Verrisi joined forces with: - [[Marbul Nimblefingers]], a drunken monk - [[Daerdrom Luckyboot]], a [[Cleric]] of [[Farlanghn]] - The [[Tortle]] [[Paladin]] [[Jié ní]] - The [[Barbarian]], [[Borkath]] - and [[Borky]], a [[Ranger]] and the son of Borkath Arriving in Vinionwood, the group quickly got up to mischief. At [[Bark & Bite Aleworks]], Marbul and Borkath challenged each other in the fighting ring with Marbul emerging victorious. They then visited [[The Traveler's Tale Carnival]], where [[Gnoll|Gnolls]] stormed the show and took hostages before fleeing with their prize. The group pursued the Gnolls into the woods, discovering their plan to resurrect the Gnoll God [[Yeenoghu]]. A fierce battle ensued, resulting in the defeat of the Gnolls. The party met [[Raia]] and [[Asterius]], [[The Sages of The Forest]], who gave Verrisi healing berries and a [[Band of the Dryad]] before returning to [[The Feywilds]]. The next day, the group enjoyed a day of bowling and met [[Ayjay]], a magic items vendor in Vinionwood, who sold them [[The Hisstle]], [[Sundrops]], and a [[Crystalline Apple]]. After learning about missing [[Kessig Cheese]], the party investigated and eventually uncovered the culprit: [[Skall]], a [[Were-Rat]] with a cheese craving. The group recovered the cheese and had [[Kessig Cheese Sandwich|Kessig Cheese Sandwiches]] for lunch. They then journeyed to the [[ Gnoll Hideout]], discovering an abandoned elven ruin with an inscription referencing a Hero, The Feywilds, and a mysterious name. In the final chamber, they faced a [[Gnoll Shaman]] and the [[Yeenoghu (Abomination)|Abomination]] that they had summoned. With the help of [[Elf|Elven]] Cleric [[Lila]], the party defeated the Gnoll Shaman and Yeenoghu, with Verrisi landing the final blow. Verrisi received a [[Verrisi's Vision of The Life of Vernakai|Vision of an elf from the past]] and claimed [[The Maul of Yeenoghu]] as proof of their victory. The group returned to Vinionwood as heroes, celebrated by the town. --- # Adventure Log ## [[1 Kythorn 1458]], [[Kessig Monastery]] [[Verrisi]] sets out from [[Kessig Monastery]], tasked with investigating the trouble at [[Vinionwood]]. [[Verrisi]], [[Marbul Nimblefingers]], [[Daerdrom Luckyboot]], [[Jié ní]], [[Borkath]], and [[Borky]] meet near [[Vinionwood]]. The group goes to [[Bark & Bite Aleworks]] in [[Vinionwood]], where Borkath and Marbul fight in the fight ring. Marbul wins. Next, the group goes to [[The Traveler's Tale Carnival]] where they have their fortune read by [[Saress]]. They watch the Circus performance. During the performance, [[Gnoll|Gnolls]] stormed the show and took 3 hostages including [[Tarian Penning]] and [[Lig]]. The newly formed group of friends pursued the Gnolls into the woods, where they discovered that the Gnolls were going to attempt to summon an [[Yeenoghu (Abomination)|Abomination]] that was supposedly their god, [[Yeenoghu]]. Combat ensued, but ultimately the Gnolls were defeated. After combat, the group meets [[The Sages of The Forest]], [[Raia]] and [[Asterius]], who give [[Verrisi]] some healing berries and a [[Band of the Dryad]] before returning to [[The Feywilds]]. ## [[2 Kythorn 1458]], [[Vinionwood]] The group [[Bowling|bowls]] at [[Borkath and Borky's Tree House]]. In [[Vinionwood]], the group meets [[Ayjay]], who sells them magic items. - Verrisi gets [[Sundrops]] - Jié ní gets [[The Hisstle]] - Borky gets a [[Crystalline Apple]] Afterwards, [[Verrisi]] runs into [[Lambholt]] at [[Bark & Bite Aleworks]]. Lambholt explains that [[Kessig Cheese]] keeps going missing. Upon investigating the storeroom, they find a piece of cheese with a large rat-like bite taken out of it. ## [[3 Kythorn 1458]], [[Borkath and Borky's Tree House]] The group again bowls at the tree house. Verrisi asks the rest of the group for help tracking down the [[Kessig Cheese]]. They agree, and upon questioning [[Skall]], they discover he is a [[Were-Rat]] with an uncontrollable hunger for cheese. They recover the cheese before having [[Kessig Cheese Sandwich]]es for lunch. Afterwards, they embark on a journey to the [[Gnoll Hideout]]. The party discovers that the Gnoll Hideout is an abandoned elven ruin, and find an inscription mentioning a "Hero", [[The Feywilds]], and a Name that could not quite be read: "E_and___". The Inscription was defaced with depictions of a powerful gnoll. In the final chamber, the party discovers a [[Gnoll Shaman]] that is attempting to revive [[Yeenoghu]]. Combat begins, and the party is joined by [[Lila]], an [[Elf|Elven]] Cleric. Together, they manage to defeat the [[Gnoll Shaman]] and [[Yeenoghu (Abomination)|Yeenoghu]], with [[Verrisi]] delivering the final blow. After the battle, Verrisi is given a [[Verrisi's Vision of The Life of Vernakai||Vision]]. Verrisi takes [[The Maul of Yeenoghu]]. The Party exits the ruins victorious and makes camp. # [[4 Kythorn 1458]], [[Vinionwood]] The group returns to [[Vinionwood]], where they are celebrated by the town, including [[Rolfe]], the [[Reeve]]. [[The Formation of The Boy Scout Boys]] commences.
