In the center of acres of farmland stands the city of [[Respite]] atop a plateau, ringed by two walls.. ...with [[Urgan's Army]] lying in wait outside the city. They approach the walls as a member of [[The City Watch of Respite]] greets them and asks them their business. They state they are from [[Morn's Peak]] and seeking [[The Order of the Green Blades|The Green Blades]]. The guard calls them "little lizards" and opens the gates for them into the bustling outer city. The city is armed to the teeth, flames to light arrows, siege weaponry and more. Pryn approaches a [[Woman Selling Bread in Respite]] and asks her about [[The Order of the Green Blades|The Green Blades]], bowing to her in respect for her draconic heritage. She asks [[Woman Selling Bread in Respite's Son|Her Son]] to watch the cart as she leads the kobolds to the nearest group of Green Blades. She introduces Pryn to a plate armored elven woman with one of [[Arzyliamorn's Crystal Blades]]: [[Corva Lightleaf]]. Pryn asks Corva to be her follower, on account of her being of of "The Dragon Knights" and Pryn being a Dragon herself. Pryn explains that she needs help saving the people of Nylavorna. Corva sends [[Corva's Squire|Her Squire]] to go inform [[Current Lord-Commander of the Green Blades]] that [[The Morning Mountains]] have fallen. Corva explains that Urgan is also on their doorstep, and that she must stay and defend Respite, but promises to do everything that she can do in her journey. She explains that every member of The Green Blades is committed to this defense, but promises to give Pryn supplies and send her further east, where she will have an easier time finding allies at [[Valikin's Landing]]: including other [[The Order of the Green Blades|Green Blades]], as well as powerful [[Wizard|Wizards]] and [[Sorcerer|Sorcerers]]. Corva mentions Urgan's taking of Respite as a "when", not an "if". Pryn is angry that everywhere she goes, they want her to run away. Pryn asks for specific names of the Knights in the east: [[Galad Steelsworn|Sir Galid Steelsworn]] is in [[Valikin's Landing]]. Corva offers [[Corva Lightleaf's Seal|her personal seal]] to Pryn so that she may request aid with the authority of the Green Blades. Corva says to present the seal to Galid and request for his aid. Her squire returns bringing words of condolence from the Lord Commander, offering again supply the kobolds. Corva escorts them to [[The East Gate]], loading them up with a [[Mule]] and supplies. She commends their bravery for making the journey so far. Pryn says the braver ones are the ones that stayed behind. Corva says that sometimes the best decisions are tough ones. Pryn thanks her for her help. Corva asserts that her people are important to Respite, and that when Respite is saved she would be honored to become a follower of Prynazalya. Corva gives Pryn a map showing her the route to Valikin's Landing. Corva bows and says "Look for the light where you can find it". The kobolds mount their mules, and depart, heading east. ## [[17 Eleasis 1488]], [[The Eastern Route]] Travel continues. ## [[18 Eleasis 1488]], [[The Eastern Route]] Travel continues. ## [[19 Eleasis 1488]], [[The Eastern Route]] Travel continues. ## [[20 Eleasis 1488]], [[The Eastern Route]] Travel continues. ## [[21 Eleasis 1488]], [[The Eastern Route]] Travel continues. ## [[22 Eleasis 1488]], [[The Eastern Route]] Travel continues. ## [[23 Eleasis 1488]], [[The Eastern Route]] Travel continues. ## [[24 Eleasis 1488]], [[The Eastern Route]] Travel continues. ## [[25 Eleasis 1488]], [[The Eastern Route]] Travel continues. ## [[26 Eleasis 1488]], [[Riven Wharf]] After a final day of travel, the group eventually arrives in Riven Wharf. ## [[27 Eleasis 1488]], [[Riven Wharf]] The group rests. ## [[28 Eleasis 1488]], [[Riven Wharf]] The group rests. ## [[29 Eleasis 1488]], [[Riven Wharf]] The group rests. ## [[30 Eleasis 1488]], [[The River Heading North-East out of Riven Wharf]] The group departs, following The River Heading North-East out of Riven Wharf. They eventually arrive in the town of [[Indigo Valley (Town)|Indigo Valley]]. There are ~30 buildings: an inn, a few small businesses, and some homes. They approach one of the larger buildings: [[The Beargrass Inn]]. Indigo flowers hang in baskets off the porch and vines climb up the sides of the building. The Kobolds enter the building. Inside people are drinking [[Hardy Soup]] and [[Flaky Bread]] and drinking a [[Beer|Muddy Liquid out of tall wooden cups]]. [[Rein]] greets them and offers them lodging, giving them the same salute they received in Respite. The kobolds decide to stay one night, paying 6 [[Copper]]. Pryn pays with ancient copper coins. While staying in the inn, Pryn keeps an eye out for potential followers as visitors pass through. In the end, only [[Dalas Greybark|a portly and plain looking man]] walks through the door. Moments later, [[The Burning of Indigo Valley|Indigo Valley will burn]].
