# Summary ## [[Prologue of the Shark of Luma]] The first adventure of [[Ag]]. --- # Adventure Log ## [[11 Uktar 1488]], [[Rezalie]] ![[Ag's Performance with Cirque Dei Liberi#???, Village Near Lake]] ...and Ag startles awake, safe, in [[Rezalie]], full of cramped, winding streets and tall wizard towers, and notably, [[The Vindilaworth School of Wizardry]], one of the three great [[Wizard|Wizarding]] schools alongside [[The Silverhand Academy]] and [[The Arcantome Institute]]. From [[Ag's Dorm|His Dorm]] Ag can see across town, down to the beach. Ag is shaken by his dream. He sheds a few tears as he recalls the horrible memory, wondering what he could have done to prevent [[Voari]]'s death. Ag thinks of [[Clias]] and [[Teturok Stronghide|Teturok]] and [[Altabea]] and ultimately [[Alexei Marlowe|Alexei]], which just makes him mad. [[Finley Tedric|Finley]], Ag's friend and roommate, asks him if he's okay and Ag explains he had a nightmare. Finley reminds Ag that they are going to be late to [[Jemma Calarook|Professor Calarook]]'s class. Ag takes a minute to get ready and asks Finley to get him some fish for breakfast. Finley doesn't think you can have fish for breakfast. --- The two head to [[Abjuration Magic|Abjuration]] class, taught by [[Jemma Calarook|Professor Calarook]]. Ag is wearing the normal Vindilaworth school uniform, modified to hide as much of his body and face as possible. The class covers defense against [[Evocation Magic]], including runic script and the verbal, somatic, and material components of each spell. Ag has the opportunity to learn: - [[Shield (Spell)|Shield]] - [[Protection from Evil and Good]] - [[Mage Armor]] Ag chooses to learn Mage Armor. Ag uses an [[Arcane Focus]] to cast the spell, rather than material components. It's somewhat easy for him as the verbal components are in [[Elvish]] which Ag is familiar with. Ag's rival, [[Eris Aladorn]] has a similarly easy time, and tries to learn the somatic components of the spell faster than Ag. ([[Arcana]]) Ag manages to outpace Eris. Ag learns Mage Armor! --- Next, Ag heads to [[Evocation Magic|Evocation]] class with [[Wolfe Latimer|Professor Latimer]]. Latimer reminds the students that the goal is not to injure anyone in class, but rather to be prepared for what may arise outside of class. Students who disregard this rule will be expelled. Ag has the opportunity to learn: - [[Magic Missile]] - [[Thunderwave]] - [[Witch Bolt]] Ag chooses to learn Thunderwave. Ag competes with [[Bran Ovalin]], Eris' shitty little fuckboy sidekick.
