He was kind enough to share some of his old equipment with Dalas so he might stay safe while traveling throughout [[Lacodia]]. After [[The Fall of Valikin's Landing]], Cormoran eventually found his way to [[Haven's Breach]]. # History ## Early History (??? - [[1488 AoM]]) Cormoran has lived a long life as a [[Mercenary]]. Notably, he once rode on [[Dalas Greybark's Cart]] through [[Squall's End]], during which he gifted Dalas his [[Damnstein's Old Wooden Shield|Old Wooden Shield]] and [[Damnstein's Rusty Old Ringmail|Rusty Old Ringmail]], claiming that he was retiring and the roads were dangerous. ## [[Campaign 2]] ([[1488 AoM]]) ### [[A Week in the Life of Dalas Greybark]] Damnstein ran into Dalas again in [[Small Village]] [[A Week in the Life of Dalas Greybark|During Dalas' trip to Indigo Valley]] where he warned Dalas of how dangerous the roads were becoming, urging him to make good use of the equipment that he had gifted Dalas in the past. Cormoran mentions meeting [[Cormoran Damnstein's Friend|A Friend]] in [[Valikin's Landing]] and the two part ways. ### [[The Fall of Valikin's Landing]] As [[Urgan's Army]] attacks [[Valikin's Landing]] and the people of the city rush to the docks to flee the attack, Cormoran again runs into Dalas as he, [[Prynazalya]], [[Tanuryn]], [[Ovranzo]], [[Grub|"Grub"]], and [[Rinda]] are desperately searching for a way to escape. Cormoran explains that he never found his friend, but his ship is ready to leave. The group boards the ship and flees as [[Urgan's Army]] attacks the docks. ### [[Dalas and Pryn's Journey to Haven's Breach]] Following [[The Fall of Valikin's Landing]], Cormoran sails to [[Haven's Breach]] alongside [[Dalas Greybark|Dalas]], [[Prynazalya|Pryn]], [[Ovranzo]], [[Tanuryn]], [[Rinda]] and [[Grub|"Grub"]]. ### [[The Mischief of Jallipop]] Cormoran aids in the defense of Haven's Breach when [[Jallipop the Sky Walker]] appears and begins causing chaos as his friend Dalas flees.
