His legs were blown off by [[Ramana]]'s suicide bomb spell during [[Boris' Undead Army]]'s attack on Misthollow during [[The Burning of the Brokenstone Vale]]. Following the burning of the Vale Ashwood joined [[The Refugees of Misthollow]] in traveling to [[Astrazalian, The City of Starlight|Astrazalian]] and eventually settled in [[Gavony]].
