His soul was placed in the ring in [[1358 AoM]] by a [[Djinn]] in [[The City of Brass]] as a makeshift way of escaping the control of [[Orzith Ilix, The Thought Collector]]. His body was transformed into [[The Book On Escaping The Thought Collector]], with a certain page containing an origami snake creature he could perceive the world through. He agreed to help [[Or (Adventurer)|Or]] and [[The Boy Scout Boys]] in rescuing [[Balsorym|King Daudren Mallek]]during [[The Attack on The Ardea Goliath]]. After the death of [[Orzith Ilix, The Thought Collector|The Thought Collector]], this Or, now without a name, was freed from the [[Ring of Mind Shielding]] by [[Lazhna]]. He began helping those enthralled in [[The Thrall War]].
