![[Gorror_Portrait.png]] # Overview Gorror is an 18-year-old Male [[Orc]] [[Fiend Patron]] [[Warlock]] and the [[Chief|Chieftain]] of the [[Darkscar Tribe]]. An untested youth, he recently inherited his title from his deceased father and has embraced a dark power out of desperation to save his people from being forcibly assimilated into [[Urgan's Army]]. # Description ## Appearance Gorror is a boyish young man, barely of age. He has a slim, frail build with no facial hair and short black hair that stands straight up, like the bristles of a brush. His skin is a deep green color and he has yellow eyes. He is short for an Orc man, standing at 6'0", larger than one would think for his boyish features. In battle, he wears the signature glossy black warpaint of his tribe. ## Personality Gorror is a earnest, but softspoken young man, seemingly devoid of the aggression and forcefulness emblematic of an Orc. Regardless, he does his best to live up to the expectations of his people and project strength, though it's clearly a facade. # History ## Early History ([[1439 AoM|1439]]-[[1457 AoM]]) Gorror was born in [[1439 AoM]], the son of [[Gurzen of Darkscar|The Prior Chieftain of the Darkscar Tribe]]. Gorror was always a small and frail boy, especially by Orc standards, and so while he was not enthusiastically embraced by the tribe, his status as the chieftain's son ensured he was not ostracized either. Gorror applied himself diligently to his duties as the son of the chieftain, eager to make his father proud and one day inherit his title, despite the sting of the tribe's ambivalence towards him. His father died recently in battle against [[Urgan's Army]] and Gorror, still an untested youth barely of age, is now forced to lead his people as their new Chieftain they imminently face annihilation or assimilation. Gorror hears the whispers of his people, though they try to hide them. They see him as unready, and themselves doomed in turn. Desperate to bring any hope to his people, to make his late father proud, overwhelmed with his new responsibilities and the stress of his station, Gorror spent his nights pleading with whatever powers of the cosmos would listen to him, begging and pleading for the strength to lead his people to victory. *Something*, *Someone*, has given him what he wants. At what cost, Gorror knows not. ## [[The Chieftains' Last Stand]] ([[1457 AoM]]) # Inventory - [[Whispering Cloak]] - [[Rod of the Pact Keeper, +1]] - [[Slippers of Spider Climbing]] # Spells ## Cantrips - [[Douse Light]] - [[Eldritch Blast]] - [[Minor Illusion]] ## Level 1 - [[Burning Hands]] - [[Command]] - [[Hellish Rebuke]] - [[Hex]] - [[Mage Armor]] ## Level 2 - [[Hold Person]] - [[Invisibility]] - [[Mirror Image]] - [[Scorching Ray]] - [[Suggestion]] ## Level 3 - [[Counterspell]] - [[Fireball]] - [[Mote of Hell]] - [[Remove Curse]] - [[Stinking Cloud]] ## Level 4 - [[Arcane Eye]] - [[Fire Shield]] - [[Spider Song]] - [[Wall of Fire]] ## Level 5 - [[Bone Cage]] - [[Geas]] - [[Infernal Calling]] - [[Insect Plague]] # Proficiencies ## Skills - [[History]] - [[Perception]] - [[Persuasion]] - [[Religion]] ## Tools - [[Lute]] ## Languages - [[Abyssal]] - [[Common]] - [[Infernal]] - [[Orcish]] # Trivia - Gorror is actually a talented musician and singer, having learned the [[Lute]] from a traveling bard.
