Darcy's early history is unknown. He eventually arrived in [[Respite]] just before [[The Battle of Respite]] in [[493 AoM]].

Darcy fought in the battle of [[Respite]] in [[The Battle of Respite]] alongside [[Buck Silverberry]], [[Galanzandri]], [[Munvrak Glacialhide]], [[Ori Orgathakana]], [[Rilan Frosthand]], [[Perryay Neafen]], and [[Urist McSagart]].
Darcy is widely credited as being the first to jump over [[The Frosthand Wall]] and enter melee combat with [[The Frost Giant Army]] outside the safety of the city.

The events of Darcy's life following the Battle of Respite are largely unknown.
Darcy was later recognized as one of the [[Saints of Respite]] representing Courage. He became associated with the symbol of the [[Corona Muralis]].
